These days I have been driving to and from office in a Car.
What it gives me is the luxury of sitting in an AC space insulated from Mumbai climate – which is either too hot, too sultry or too wet – and listening to songs on the car stereo. Since I am not greatly into music and don’t have a collection of songs, I end up listening to FM most of the times.
The first couple of days of driving and listening to FM radio, one channel for a long time gave me a huge depression. Didn’t I have better things to do than getting stuck in traffic and listening to a RJ blabber incessantly. Blabber on random topics in a random voice! Add those random jokes and fillers in between, its even more depressing.FM radio in India needs a huge makeover. Thank God for remotes and steering mounted audio controls.
