Got to know about Bruce Lee letter to himself via social media post. Can’t remember, if I saw it on Twitter or Linkedin. However, this is how the story went… Bruce Lee was apparently at a low point in life financially with the only assignment he had on TV ending when he wrote a letter to himself stating his aim. He pursued his aim, and within a a few year achieved what he wrote. Here is the letter.
My Definite Chief Aim
I, Bruce Lee, will be the first highest paid Oriental super star in the United States. In return I will give the most exciting performances and render the best of quality in the capacity of an actor. Starting 1970 I will achieve world fame and from then onward till the end of 1980 I will have in my possession $10,000,000. I will live the way I please and achieve inner harmony and happiness.

This made me think about such an aim for myself. So here goes.
My Definite Chief Aim
In the next 5 years, I will become the CEO of a company excelling at everything I touch – firstly as a marketer and secondly as a business leader. Along the way, I’ll donate back to the society and help improve lives of the under privileged in the spheres of education and health.
