A quick sketchy post on gifts based on my personal experience.
I have received a few gifts which make me curse the gift giver every single day. Every single one of these happen to be corporate gifts that are treated as a tick mark item at the end of the year. They were either basis the requirements of the bosses in the organisation or where the responsibility was handed over to someone who was least interested in doing the job. The higher the value, the higher is the agony caused by these!
To contrast, the most memorable ones are those of low monetary value but are the most thoughtful. Infact, some of them are just simple or kind gestures of no value!
