I always found this one funny. A Doctor should be popular either because of number of patients he treats successfully or the way he treats a patients. Then, there is a concept of Key Opinion Leader (KOL) – one who commands the respect of his peers due to the kind of work he does.
But most often than not, we find Doctors are famous because of who they treat. And some become KOLs because of this which is definitely not a good thing to happen.
