The small little things you notice from time to time on their products in<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> bold<\/span> or <span style=\"color: rgb(255, 0, 0);\">red<\/span> or with a <sup>New!<\/sup> superscript are fun to test and play with.<a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_nPrdJ8CAbhc\/RpYSDa6c9VI\/AAAAAAAAABM\/ctaRnebl11E\/s1600-h\/test%2Bfeature.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_nPrdJ8CAbhc\/RpYSDa6c9VI\/AAAAAAAAABM\/ctaRnebl11E\/s320\/test%2Bfeature.gif\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5086272679134950738\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>Better still is their <a href=\"http:\/\/labs.google.com\/\">labs<\/a> showcasing products that aren&#8217;t quite ready for prime time.<\/p>\n<p>A few days back, noticing the spike in news articles on iPhone (thanks to all their PR), I had an idea of writing a small hack in Python to download all news on iPhone that I can then sort and graphically plot (this hack is still WIP and I will eventually do it once I get enough time on hand).  The idea came as Google <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/trends\">trends<\/a> reports the  events a little <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/trends?q=iphone+&#038;ctab=0\">dated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/experimental\/index.html\">Google experimental<\/a>, that has solved my problem to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/views?q=iphone+view:timeline&amp;vws=13860&#038;vwe=14630&amp;sa=N&#038;ct=tlhist\">some extent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Go Play!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Edit: Chanced upon this article on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.time.com\/time\/business\/article\/0,8599,1642324,00.html?xid=rss-business\">iPhone lust<\/a> with a few interesting statistics.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What I like about Google is its quest to be a little better every day(even though its a market leader and believe me all market leaders are complacent).
