Flipkart, the Indian Amazon wannabe has a new series of ads.
The very first series of ads (no kidding) were spot on. Kids cuing trust & ease – factors that are needed for e-commerce. One addressing the issue and the other giving a benefit. Even the first few of the second series, ‘shopping ka naya address‘ were more or less addressing the trust issue of e-commerce and the kids bought this out dramatically.
Some of these were brilliant with insights and the kid got the adult emotions right as well.
Here are the new ones…
This one is stretching the kid idea far too long. The moment they moved from addressing issues to talk other things is when this kids format falls flat. I think they fell into a trap thinking that just showing situations using kids will be funny.
