I am a firm believer in information transparency and the overall benefits it can bring to an organization. The best example I can take is of Open Source software.
You open up information, you open up peer review. The more capable and inquisitive people can interpret, question and uncovering more interesting stuff. If you channel it properly, it can lead to better decisions!
